Radio date for Cube choir
A famous face – and voice – visited The Cube to interview the resident choir for a new Radio 4 programme.
World renowned baritone Roderick Williams joined in with singers from The Cube choir for a rendition of the Bill Withers hit ‘Lean on Me’.
The choir, formed by members of the Solicitors Regulation Authority and the Law Society, also sang two other songs and were interview by Mr Williams for the programme about workplace choirs, to be broadcast later in the year.
Natalie Turner, a legal adviser with the Law Society who helped launch the group, said: “It went very well, and having Roderick Williams join in with our singing was really lovely.”
The 25-strong choir make music together for an hour a week, which they say helps to break down barriers between the various divisions of the organisations while improving team spirit.
